Jane Wolfe played a major role in the continuity of Crowley’s vision for the Order until her death.
Jane Wolfe, although relatively unknown in modern magickal circles, was an extraordinarily distinctive individual whose story has been crying out to be told. She was a noted actress who starred in numerous silent films, most notably Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm (1917) but, in all probability, she is most famous for being a follower of the Great Beast 666, Aleister Edward Crowley. These books not only give a rare glimpse into her movie career but also detail what really occurred behind the scenes at Crowley’s Thelemic Order at Cefalu, since Jane was one of the female followers who actually lived at his infamous Abbey. She was also one of the founding members of Agape Lodge of the Ordo Templi Orientis in southern California, as well as being its last Lodge Master.
