Description
The Via Tarot by artist Susan Jameson is inspired by the work of Aleister Crowley, especially his Thoth Tarot deck and Thelemic Book of the Law. Jameson received the 22 major arcana images through direct revelations that began with a visionary dream and continued through scryings in an obsidian sphere. The minor arcana cards come from additional inner work and Jameson’s interpretation of Crowley’s notes and designs. Her numbered cards show a human figure at the bottom holding up the central symbolic image. It is this area of the card that often echoes the images on the Thoth deck. The set includes the companion book Via Tarot: The Path of Life by John Bonner, author of Qabalah: A Magical Primer. Bonner describes the symbols and divinatory meanings of each card.
This is the German edition of Via Tarot and the cards and book are both printed in German.
